Great documentary work lives at the intersection of authentic storytelling and meticulous craft.

I believe in letting characters lead their own narratives while I shape the emotional journey through pacing, sound design, and visual composition. Because I shoot, produce, and edit my projects, there's no creative compromise between the vision and the execution—I capture footage knowing exactly how it will cut, and I edit with complete context of every moment.

After 2 Emmy Awards and 20 years of work, I've learned that the best edits are the ones viewers don't notice because they're too absorbed in the story. Every cut serves the narrative. Every frame serves the emotion.

The work is challenging and deadline-driven—but finding that perfect cut that makes everything click? That's exactly why I love it.
